Jens Thiel, DDS

Jens Thiel graduated with top marks from The Royal Dental College of Copenhagen in 1982. He then worked for one year as a dentist in the Danish Airforce at Airbase Værløse followed by five years as an employed dentist in general practice in central Copenhagen.

In 1988 at the age of 29 he established his own brand new dental office from scratch in Christianshavns Square. Jens is keeping up with progress in the field of dentistry through participation in numerous postgraduate educational courses and seminars, e.g. ADA' annual sessions. He is a member of Tandlægeforeningen, Praktiserende tandlægers Organisation and member of the board in SOR, Denmarks oldest dental society.

With the luxury of being situated perfectly in Christianshavn with a great view of the busy square the clinic offers first class quality dental treatment with a human touch.

In 2008 the clinic expanded to 200 sqm.

It contains four treatment rooms that houses two dentists, one dental hygienist and four certified dental nurses.

The rooms all have 3½ meters to the ceiling and are spacious, bright and friendly.

We do not experiment with unsupported exotic treatments with a questionable pseudoscientific background.

For your sake we only work with solid evidence based techniques, the best available materials, knowledge and old fashioned good craftmanship backed by 33 years of clinical experience.

Assisted by the newest in equipment and with the highest hygienic standards the clinic aims at offering you the best treatment possible.

We are not marketing ourselves with cheap buzzwords such as "painless dentist", "holistic dental treatment" or "aestetic dentistry".

Instead we anaestetize you effectively if you want it, we listen to your needs and wishes and we provide you with a nice and confident smile.

In this way it is our belief that it can and will be possible to overcome a lingering odontophobia.

The clinic offers the whole range of general dentistry, i.e. cariestherapy, endodontics, perio-treatments, surgery, implants and prostodontic treatments with fixed or removable full og partial appliances. Children are welcome.

You may consult us for orthodontic evaluation. We do not offer orthodontic treatment but will happily refer you to Copenhagens best experts in that field.
